Notch Hill 2.9- km hiking route

Climb uphill through a picturesque forest for some spectacular views looking out across Nanoose Harbour. Although the route doesn’t offer many flat stretches to catch your breath, it is balanced with a short overall distance and some rewarding views at the end. With a beautiful setting, well-maintained trail, and a moderately steep incline, this route is perfect for beginner hikers that want a bit of a challenge.

Enos Lake Loop 5.3-km trail

This unique “figure 8” loop makes for easy walking through wetlands, rocky bluffs, arbutus woods, mixed deciduous woods and lakeside travel. Take in the scenic views of Enos Lake, the Salish Sea and the mountains as you explore this network of trails.

Brickyard Bay - 0.6-km out-and-back trail

Brickyard Community Park is a stunning 5-acre park located along the rocky waterfront in Fairwinds. The park is well maintained and the trails are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Come and take a leisurely stroll and scramble up rocks for breathtaking views. On warm days, bring a swimsuit and go for a swim in the refreshing waters. Take a break on one of the park’s benches and enjoy the view. This park is the perfect place to relax and be surrounded by nature.
